WARRANTY

Univonna guarantees to make good, by repair or replacement of part(s), any manufacturing defect in your Univonna sofa attributable to faulty materials and/or workmanship within the stipulated warranty period commencing from the date of purchase, provided that you, the Purchaser, return the duly completed and signed warranty card to Univonna within ten (10) days from the date of delivery.  This warranty is also subject to the following terms and conditions:

 

  1. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components:
  • Timber structure/framework (5 years);
  • Internal filling “seats and back” against complete sinking without recovery (2 years);
  • Manual recliner mechanism and headrest mechanism (5 years);
  • Thread and stitching against torn and breakage (2 years);
  • Upholstery material include genuine leather, synthetic leather and fabrics (1 year);
  • All electrical components for Motor recliner and other electrical parts (1 year).

 

  1. Any claim under this warranty is to be made to Univonna at 10 Admiralty Street, #02-86 Northlink Building, Singapore 757695, together with proof of purchase (either original purchase receipt or invoice) and the Purchaser’s copy of the warranty card.

 

  1. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product at the original delivery address.

 

  1. Repair or replacement of the product does not extend or renew this warranty.

 

  1. This warranty does not cover floor samples sales or sales made on “as is” basis.

 

  1. This warranty does not apply if the product has been used for non-domestic or commercial purposes or for purposes or in a manner for which the product was not designed. This warranty does not apply if the product has been placed outdoors or exposed to sunlight, heat, bright lights or extreme environmental conditions.

 

  1. This warranty does not apply to products which have been stored incorrectly, handled carelessly or improperly, misused, abused, altered/modified, cleaned using wrong cleaning methods or wrong cleaning products, improperly/inadequately maintained, or applied/treated with chemical products. This warranty also does not apply to products on which repairs have been attempted other than by service staff authorised by Univonna.

 

  1. To be able to claim this warranty, the product must be cared for in accordance with the care instructions set out overleaf and otherwise supplied by Univonna.

 

  1. This warranty does not cover normal wear and tear or damage resulting from the following:
  • impacts, accidents, neglect or negligence;
  • exposure to chemical(s) or liquid(s) (including bodily fluids);
  • handling in transit.

 

  1. Univonna’s decision on all questions relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or materials shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Univonna’s sole discretion.

 

  1. If identical material is not available at the time of product service, Univonna reserves the right to substitute other material of comparable quality.

 

  1. Save as precluded by law, this warranty does not cover any claims for consequential loss or damage and Univonna makes no other warranties, expressed or implied.

 

  1. This warranty covers:

 

  • in respect of manufacturing defects detected within six (6) months from the date of delivery, the cost of material components, replacement parts, labour and transportation charges;

 

in respect of manufacturing defects detected after six (6) months from the date of delivery, the cost of material components and replacement parts only, with all labour charges and transportation costs (if any) to be covered by the Purchaser.

  • Univonna guarantees to make good, by repair or replacement of part(s), any manufacturing defect in your Perfecta Mattress attributable to faulty materials and/or workmanship within the stipulated warranty period commencing from the date of purchase, provided that you, the Purchaser, return the duly completed and signed warranty card to Univonna within ten (10) days from the date of delivery. This warranty is also subject to the following terms and conditions:
  1. This warranty covers defects in material and workmanship in the following components:
    • a.   All kind of spring system used in the mattress. Any loose coil or wires that are broken and protrude through the fabric of the mattress within 10 years from date of purchased.
    • b.   Mattress sagging and or body indentations of more than one and half inches as determine by mattress industry standard.
  2. Any claim under this warranty is to be made to Univonna at 10 Admiralty Street, #02-86 Northlink Building, Singapore 757695, together with proof of purchase (either original purchase receipt or invoice) and the Purchaser’s copy of the warranty card.
  3. This warranty is extended only to the original purchaser of the product at the original delivery address.
  4. Repair or replacement of the product does not extend or renew this warranty.
  5. This warranty does not cover the following:
    • a.   Covers or fabrics for your mattress under wear and tear.
    • b.   Firmness and comfort of individual preferences under wear and tear.
    • c.   Floor samples sales or sales made on “as is” basis.
    • d.   Damaged due to improper use and care and non –domestic use.
    • e.   Any mattress that found to be in unsanitary condition and or infested with bed bugs.
  6. Univonna’s decision on all questions relating to complaints as to defects either of workmanship or materials shall be final and conclusive. Any decision to repair or have part(s) replaced shall be at Univonna’s sole discretion.
